The Committee for Graduate Employment (CID) held its 16th annual meeting on 17 September 2026 to review the success of initiatives designed to integrate young graduates from the Principality into the professional workforce. Chaired by Christophe Robino, who represented the Minister of State, the meeting focused on the various measures implemented throughout 2025 to help students and recent graduates in their transition to employment.
Since its inception in 2010, the CID has utilised a pragmatic and personalised approach to support, benefiting 225 young people during the previous year. The committee has also expanded the groups eligible for its services since 2025, ensuring a broader reach for its mission. The organisation operates through four primary pillars of action: connecting, informing, supporting, and creating opportunities.
A significant milestone highlighted during the review was the launch of the CID Alumni network in June 2025. This network was established to foster enduring connections between graduates within the Principality and to provide ongoing assistance for long-term career development and professional integration.
In 2025, the CID facilitated 58 workshops and outreach sessions, with a particular emphasis on identifying employment opportunities within the Principality to help graduates enter the labour market. The committee currently maintains a network of 285 partner companies, providing support to young people at various stages of their careers, including internships, work-study programmes, and initial job placements.
Looking toward 2026, the CID intends to increase the scope of its activities. Planned developments include strengthening ties with partner companies, introducing new workshops specifically focused on workforce entry, and organising a dedicated event concerning competitive recruitment examinations held within the Principality.
