Monaco’s Youth Advisory Commission has held its eighth session, bringing together young people from across the Principality to discuss issues affecting their generation and contribute to public policy discussions.
The meeting took place at Lycée Rainier III and formed part of the Principality’s ongoing efforts to encourage youth participation in civic life. The commission provides a platform for young residents to share their views and propose ideas directly to public authorities on matters of importance to them.
Established to strengthen dialogue between Monaco’s institutions and younger generations, the advisory body meets periodically to examine subjects linked to education, daily life, citizenship and the future development of the Principality.
The eighth session continued this consultative approach by enabling participants to exchange perspectives with representatives from the government and public administration. The initiative aims to ensure that young people’s experiences and expectations are taken into account in the development of public policies.
The Youth Advisory Commission forms part of Monaco’s wider commitment to involving young people in decision making processes and promoting active citizenship among the Principality’s younger residents. The latest meeting reinforced the role of the commission as a forum for discussion and engagement between Monaco’s institutions and its youth community.
