Brittny Button may be a familiar face within Formula One circles, but her interests extend far beyond the circuit. An interior designer and entrepreneur with a keen eye for aesthetics, she brings a distinctive perspective to race weekends, one shaped as much by creativity, style and design as by the sport itself.
Few events capture that intersection better than the Monaco Grand Prix, where motorsport, fashion, luxury and entertainment converge against one of the world’s most recognisable backdrops. From beauty essentials and getting ready rituals to the atmosphere aboard Monaco’s famed yachts and the evolving influence of Formula One on global culture, Button offers a glimpse into a side of Grand Prix weekend that fans rarely see.
From the sidelines of this year’s Monaco Grand Prix, we share Brittny’s insights about the traditions, trends and memorable moments that make Monaco unlike any other stop on the Formula One calendar.
Interview with Brittny Button
What does a typical Monaco Grand Prix weekend look like from your perspective attending events throughout the week?
I love participating in the Pit Lane Walk. It’s thrilling to see the cars, race strategists and drivers up close and personal.

What makes the Monaco Grand Prix feel different from other sporting or cultural events you’ve attended?
Iconic grandeur is how I’d summarise it. Everyone dresses in a kind of calculated cool look, has an heir of intrigue about them and is excited to be there!
How would you describe the style atmosphere in Monaco during race weekend?
There’s a quiet opulence to it all. That feels very nostalgic and rare. A return to the essence of what real taste and style are really about.
What are some of the biggest fashion or beauty trends you notice around the Monaco GP crowd this year?
Use of colour. Relaxed separates. Jewelry galore.
How do you personally approach dressing for Monaco race weekend events?
Opting for slip dresses or tailored separates work well for day to night events.
What pieces or staples did you make sure to pack for the trip?
On a daily basis, I wear a super natural NAELI tinted moisturizer with SPF 50 (I randomly discovered it on Amazon) and I fell in love with it! The effect is effortless glowy skin while still protecting from the sun in Monaco.

Are there any beauty or wellness essentials you always travel with during a busy event-filled weekend like this?
Definitely! These are my staples:
Every night I use my SEKKISEI Japanese Oil Cleanser that melts all my makeup and grime off of my skin. It leaves it feeling nourished; never stripped.
I’m obsessed with my All Moringa and Castor oil blend; which I use morning and night. It’s incredibly hydrating that keeps my skin calm and brows looking full.
Before any event my Korean caffeinated Terez & Honor under-eye patches are my go-to. They wake everything up instantly as if they’re a little espresso shot for your face!
What does a typical getting-ready routine look like for you before an F1-related event or dinner?
Getting a good night’s rest or power nap, intense gym workout, light snacks mostly high in protein and greens, proper skin prep, with the right music – a mix of rock and country – glam and the right styled look to fit the venue.
Beyond the races themselves, what are your favourite parts of being in Monaco during Grand Prix weekend?
The dinners and events! Whether on a yacht or in an intimate setting; there’s a magnificent feeling to it all. Catching up with old friends or meeting new people there’s an exciting atmosphere to it all.

How does Monaco’s design, architecture, and overall aesthetic influence or inspire you creatively?
There’s an effortlessness to it all. The way a soft sea breeze wafts in through a window. I love this carefree feeling, where it all feels incredibly luxurious yet accessible enough that you can sit on the sofa or lounge in the chair. The livability factor is always present yet executed in an elevated way.
What are some of the most memorable behind-the-scenes moments you’ve experienced during the weekend so far?
A couple of events on a yacht I attended, just felt different. There’s a happy go-lucky feeling to them. I like to study the interior design, use of color and architectural elements used. They’re really floating homes of opulence that can be sailed from port to port. Pure class!

How would you describe the balance between luxury, sport, fashion, and nightlife that Monaco becomes known for during Grand Prix weekend?
It’s a beautiful collapse of culture, a pulse on what’s happening globally within each of these verticals. There’s a cross-pollination effect where one industry seems to influence the other.
What do you think people misunderstand most about Monaco Grand Prix culture from the outside looking in?
It’s actually a very small set of people – a community that is like a healthy family where everyone knows everyone. So it’s like catching up with old friends, spread across the world.

How has Formula 1 evolved into such a major fashion and lifestyle moment in recent years?
It’s from a combination of factors – the success of the Drive to Survive series on Netflix, the ten year deal LVMH has struck with Formula One and Apple’s partnership with livestreaming F1 races.
This kind of access and proliferation of the IP throughout North America has made the F1 world more known. Which has opened up untapped audience awareness of the sport of racing.
If you had to describe Monaco Grand Prix weekend in three words, what would they be?
Luxury, splendour and speed.
