The Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights will mark International Women’s Rights Day with the third edition of POWHER, taking place on Friday 6 March at the Espace Léo Ferré. The day-long event will explore a woman’s life journey through the lenses of sport, health and equality.

This year’s edition will feature an original scenographic layout with sport at its centre, including a photographic exhibition by Sébastien Salamand, known as Le Turk, highlighting Monegasque sportswomen across rugby, football, basketball, judo, athletics and gymnastics.

Among the day’s highlights will be a collective artwork by Mr One Teas, allowing visitors to interact with the installation and take away a keepsake, and a treasure hunt guiding participants through different stages of a woman’s life to uncover a final password at the artwork’s location.

The programme will close with a public speaking competition at 6 p.m. in the hemicycle of the National Council. Upper-secondary school pupils will present perspectives on the theme “A Story of Equality: from Ego to Equals.” The competition, first launched in 2025, will be broadcast live on Monaco Info.

Admission to the Espace Léo Ferré is free, with additional programme details and competition registration available via the Committee’s website and social media channels.
