Rimac presented its latest high-performance electric hypercar, the Nevera R, during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. The vehicle was displayed at the Fairmont Hotel alongside company CEO Mate Rimac and several Rimac customers.

As Formula 1 returned to the streets of Monte Carlo, the Nevera R joined the original Nevera to attract attention from spectators and car enthusiasts in one of the sport’s most high-profile environments. Designed with an emphasis on handling, the Nevera R brings enhanced dynamics to Rimac’s all-electric platform.

The Nevera R features a fixed rear wing and a larger diffuser, producing 15 percent more downforce while improving aerodynamic efficiency by 10 percent compared to the standard model. These upgrades are aimed at boosting the car’s performance on twistier circuits without sacrificing everyday usability.

Equipped with a 108kWh battery and four electric motors, the Nevera R delivers 2,107 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 1.74 seconds and reaches 300 kilometres per hour in 8.66 seconds. Its top speed is 412 kilometres per hour.

The model also benefits from an upgraded torque vectoring system and Michelin Cup 2 tyres, offering improved grip and precision in a variety of driving conditions. Its debut at the Monaco Grand Prix places it among a select group of vehicles chosen to appear at one of the most exclusive automotive gatherings of the year.

The Nevera R will remain on display at the Fairmont Hotel throughout the race weekend.
