Aston Martin Aramco has announced a new multi-year partnership with CoreWeave, naming the US-based AI cloud platform as its Official AI Cloud Computing Partner.
The agreement marks a significant step in the Formula One team’s digital transformation strategy. As part of the collaboration, Aston Martin Aramco will relocate its current on-premises data centre to a cloud-based infrastructure powered by CoreWeave’s purpose-built platform. The move is expected to enhance operational agility and accelerate the team’s development cycle by removing traditional hardware limitations.
CoreWeave, positioned as the first AI hyperscaler, specialises in high-performance cloud computing tailored to meet the demands of artificial intelligence workloads. Its platform will support Aston Martin Aramco in optimising car design through AI-accelerated simulations and engineering processes, aiming to shorten component development times and improve overall competitiveness.
As part of the partnership, the team’s recently launched wind tunnel, operational since March, will be renamed the CoreWeave Wind Tunnel. Additionally, CoreWeave’s branding will appear on the AMR25 race car starting from this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix.
The collaboration reflects an increasing trend in Formula One, where data-driven insights and advanced computational resources are becoming central to on-track success.
